A daylight studio with a seamless backdrop, two flash heads and a photographer who cares about the light more than the gear. Turn the camera, scroll, take the shot.
The lens racks from the reflector to the subject. We focus on the near eye and let everything else fall away — that is the whole portrait.
02 — Aperture
f/2.8, blades wide open
Nine blades open, and the light runs through seven coated glass elements before it lands on the sensor. Shallow depth, soft edges, honest skin.
03 — Sensor
Full frame, 45 megapixels
Enough resolution for a two-metre print and a crop you will never notice. Files are delivered in colour-managed sRGB and print-ready TIFF.
04 — Light
Rembrandt, then butterfly
An octa softbox for the key, a smaller square box to fill, a silver reflector to catch the shadow side. The backdrop rolls to whichever colour the brief needs.
05 — Frame
Seamless, edge to edge
Two point seven metres of paper, swept onto the floor so there is no horizon. The camera turns, frames it, and waits for you.
06 — The shot
Now take the picture
Your photo on the rear screen. Press the shutter, watch the flash, and a print slides out. That is how every session here ends.
